The Bowmanville Foundry Production Facility Features:

  • Two Brown Boveri, 1000 Lb/hr Coreless Induction Furnaces

  • Automated molding employing Roberts Sinto FBO 16 x 20 matchplate machine technology

  • Pattern framing facility allowing older squeezer, Hunter and B&P matchplates up to 16 x 20 to be quickly adapted

  • Flexible computer-controlled batch annealing

  • ISO 9002 quality control procedures


The Bowmanville Foundry Internal Quality System Providing In-Process Control Of:
  • Green sand moisture,compactability and compression strength by automated process computer control

  • Carbon & Silicon content

  • Microscopic Nodularity

  • Ductility

  • Brinell Hardness


The Bowmanville Foundry Post Processes Available Include:
